Vernal Equinox Tequesta Drum Circle
The Tequesta Drum Circle is a private event and the ‘rules’ are created by
Moon Path Circle, and Moon Path Circle is responsible for the success/failure of the Tequesta Drum Circle.
Note: One of the rules and regulations that Moon Path Circle has changed is to No Photography from No Flash Photography.
Also note that No Alcohol, No Playing in the fire, and Under 18 must have an adult with them have been added as well at Gate Closing Time at 10 PM and Quiet drumming after 11 PM. Many people have complained that the video and photography is out of control and they don’t want their photographs taken by people while at the event.
Gates open at 7:00 pm – Gates close at 10 PM – No one admitted after 10 PM – Fire Eaters and Spinners must have proof of their own insurance.
No Alcohol, No Drugs, No Pets, No Photography, No playing in the fire.
No Unsupervised Children – Under 18 must have an adult with them.
$7 entrance fee goes toward the event costs which include:
Insurance, hiring the required park rangers for the night, and a Portable Handy Cap Restroom.

Kids are totally welcome; but the location is on an unsupervised deepwater shoreline with easy access to the water’s edge. Some parents have found that the need to watch over their kid took them away from the drumming.

Full moon drum circle – February 9th
At last February drum circle is upon us. Next Monday, the full moon drum circle would be held in the glorius beaches of Miami beach. If you plan to go, please plan ahead the clothes and protection for the current chilly nights in South Florida. More info at the Miami drums full moon circle page . It’s becoming a tradition for some people to also leave their comments after drumming, so all type of constructive critique is welcome.

Virginia Key Beach Drum Circle is this Sunday – Jan 18th 2009
The Virginia Key Beach Drum Circle is this Sunday.
Bring your drum, bring your dancing feet, and bring hydration. Dress
appropriately for the weather at the time. This is a wonderful venue: covered, light, near the ocean, bathrooms available, some seating (you still may want to bring your own , though).
Once you see the site and play there, you’ll agree that this is one of THE perfect places for a drum circle in Miami.
The Dec 26th drum circle there was great, attended by some of the best drummers in Miami and Broward, as well as the very best dancers (all of those under 5 years old) in the world! Date: Sunday January 18, 2009
