Although the moon would be full on September 12th, you can celebrate it sooner at the Virginia Key Drum circle:
This Saturday September 10 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Bring drums and admirable hands, hoops, poi, zils, veils, coin sashes, moving hips and clever feet (Bring your own seating)

Last time we drum at Virginia Key, were a big problem during sunset. I’d strongly recommend you to bring some sort of repellent if you’re planning to go.

This is a Drug Free, Alcohol Free, Smoke Free event.
This is a Hand-Drum circle.  The park gates will only be open till 7:30, so do plan to arrive before that.
Directions:
NOT the park entrance with the big sign on the median that is used to get to Jimbo’s. Immediately AFTER the Seaquarium (right before the bridge to Key Biscayne) turn left at 2nd traffic light. NOAA building and SE Fisheries are on opposite sides of the entrance road to the park.\
Also this weekend,
Delou African Ensemble re starts its community education classes at the little Haiti community center and the Broward drum circle – more info on left menu.
