Born in Djsanufla, Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivoire), Eric Bli Bli Gore has over 20 years of experience as a percussionist and has performed with the likes of Ludacris (MTV awards 2005) and has opened for the Rolling Stones. Eric and the Wannabes will be playing Soukous Style jams,
(Modern Congolese dance music), so PREPARE TO DANCE!

SATURDAY NIGHT May 16th PERCUSSION MADNESS DRUM CIRCLE. That’s right – a drum circle inside LE CAFE! We’re moving the tables and opening the space up to the wonderful members of South Florida’s Drum Circle Community. This is your chance to try a little hand drumming, enjoy some belly dancing, have some drinks and food, and learn what makes a drum circle so much fun. If you have a drum, bring it. If not there will be extras so don’t be shy!

Finalmente la luna llena está sobre nosotros, lo que indica que el circulo de tambores en la playa de Miami beach, FL está cerca. Este Lunes 9 de Febrero será el circulo de la luna llena. Ten en cuenta que por la noche la temperatura baja aun más que durante el dia, por lo que el uso de ropa abrigada y se vuelve ensencial. Como estamos cerca del próximo circulo en Virginia Key, queria agregar un par de fotos que tuve la suerte de tomar la última oportunidad. EL lugar es realmente genial para un circulo. Parking cerca, una especie de carpa perfecta para que el sol no destruya a los musicos y convenientemente ubicada camino a Key Biscayne, aqui las fotos:

Friday December 26, 2008 – 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Virginia Key Beach Park Dance Floor 4020 Virginia Beach Drive, Virginia Key, Miami, FL. Bring your drum. Bring your dancing feet.
There will be a fire pit to warm things up. The park entrance fee is $3 per car; but if you show your drum, they may waive the fee. Check the weather and dress accordingly. Bring your own seating.
Directions:
NOT the park entrance that is used to get to Jimbo’s. AFTER the Seaquarium (right before the bridge to Key Biscayne) turn left at 2nd traffic light. There will be a small green sign in the median displaying Virginia Key Beach Park. NOAA building and SE Fisheries are on opposite sides of the entrance road to the park.
