In addition to the Miami Beach gatherings, Michael from the SFDCC Newsletter reports:
Unity on the Bay - Full Moon Drum Circle FRIDAY, JULY 18th from 7 to 9PM - fee $10
Coordinated by Carlos Manuel Planas and Jude Byrne.
We meet in a church, have a spiritually-flavored drum circle, and therefore have a zero tolerance drug and alcohol scene. We want to create a non-threatening safe space, a family atmosphere. We believe that the music on its own creates a healing, natural high, so artificial ingredients are not needed in this environment. All instruments are welcome. People show up with djembes, doumbeks, congas,
etc. Latin rhythms may predominate, but all rhythms are welcome.
Held at: Unity on the Bay Church, 411 NE 21st St., Miami FL, near Biscayne Bay

Mark Richards reminds us, gently souls of Dade county:
Some drummers may be getting together for Full Moon Eve and/or Full Moon Night on the beach at 75th street & Collins. This is not an organized event, so there are no guarantees. All I can say is that if I could get off work tonight, the beach at 75th & Collins is where I would be with my drum.
and last but not least, June 21st:

An alternative to the full moon Miami beach drum circle at Tobacco road

Tobacco road, Miami’s oldest bar is hosting Full moon drum circles!
Tobacco Road
This comes as a good surprise because of all the problems that have been happening at the Miami beach full moon drum circle. Seems like all musicians willing to attend the full moon party there, have to sing-up on their website for free access for the full moon day.
It seems like a very convenient option, since tobacco road is very close to Brickell and Downtown with lots of parking spaces…
