Coconut Groove and Full moon drum circle this weekend
I hope you are doing good. This weekend make sure you take your drumming hands to the Coconut Groove drum circle. It’s always a lot of fun and this time parallel to the Full moon Miami celebration.
We will be drumming and dancing, this Saturday 4th of February, in the open air at the Mayfair in the Grove, located at the corner of Grand Avenue and Mary Street. We will drum in the Promenade, in the open area near Florida Street Mayfair entrance, across the Promenade from the Music Conservatory, in the same open area where we met in October. There are parking garages in the Mayfair complex and on the corner of Oak Street and Mary, and parking lots near the Mayfair as well as parking on the streets. We will light up the night and rev up the energy of the Grove Art Walk. Come, and discover or rediscover the magic, joy, and healing power of the drum. Extra drums and other percussion instrument will be available along with water and seating. All you need to bring are happy hands. It starts at 7 PM until 10PM.
Then you can head straight to the Miami Beach Full moon celebration at its usual time and place. Check Miamidrums.com menu on the left for it’s exact time and place. Be aware that since this drum circle is on a Saturday, attendees numbers might be massive!
Some people also attend the day before, Friday, celebration.
Regardless of what you chose to do, don’t stop the drumming.
Take care
