September Full moon drum circle
Although the moon would be full on September 12th, you can celebrate it sooner at the Virginia Key Drum circle:
This Saturday September 10 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Bring drums and admirable hands, hoops, poi, zils, veils, coin sashes, moving hips and clever feet (Bring your own seating)
Last time we drum at Virginia Key, were a big problem during sunset. I’d strongly recommend you to bring some sort of repellent if you’re planning to go.
This is a Drug Free, Alcohol Free, Smoke Free event.
This is a Hand-Drum circle. The park gates will only be open till 7:30, so do plan to arrive before that.
Directions:
NOT the park entrance with the big sign on the median that is used to get to Jimbo’s. Immediately AFTER the Seaquarium (right before the bridge to Key Biscayne) turn left at 2nd traffic light. NOAA building and SE Fisheries are on opposite sides of the entrance road to the park.\

Fairchild botanical garden drum circle
This weekend Mark is hosting the drum circle at the Fairchild Garden. There’s free admission every Sunday through the month of August. The drum circle is in doors with A/C

Kids are totally welcome; but the location is on an unsupervised deepwater shoreline with easy access to the water’s edge. Some parents have found themselves spending all the time watching their kids instead of drumming.
Last but not least, if you happen to be close to Dunedin Florida check out the Enchanted Earth in Dunedin. Casual Drum Circle on Saturday June 25th. It will be from 7pm – ? and held in the stores beautiful SHADED back yard and being that close to the gulf there is usually a very nice breeze. So come on out and let the rhythm of the universe flow through you as we create some beautiful tunes.
