Delou presents this weekend for the first time:
The Inagural African Diaspora festival at Little Haiti Cultural Center 212-260 NE 59 Terr, Miami 305-960-2969. There will be a marketplace and a children’s village.
There are fees for each class/workshop/performance – call 305-978-3866 for fee info and other questions.
Each drum class cost $15 at the door but you can buy all classes as a package.

Bagua drum circle a few months back
Tomorrow night the delayed Bagua drum circle would take place in its usual form and format:
Friday Bagua Drum Circle 4736 NE 2nd Ave, Miami 9-11PM seating provided in the beautiful garden
we play inside if it’s wet out OK to bring cool refreshing beverages. Hand drum, djembes and percussion instruments welcome.
Sunday Drum church continues its morning service:

Finally we have all setup for Matthew’s Workshop. A big thanks goes to Joe Teskie, Gene Shapiro, Silva and Mark Richards for making this a reality.
Write down on you calendar, Sunday 21st at 11:30 AM Will have a one of a kind workshop with Matthew Hill who is traveling from New York for the class. If you don’t Matthew’s inspiring musical work, take a look at the video posted on miamidrums two years ago here:
